Members of the Church Visit group of Kingsbridge u3a recently (early 2022) visited the church of St Peter & All Saints, Malborough - often called “the cathedral of the South Hams,” due to its size and the fact that it’s spire is visible from miles around. This beautiful 13th century church has much of interest, including an ancient 16th century altar frontal and a mid-nineteenth century altar whose design was inspired by that in Cologne Cathedral.
