Stephen Powles - In Pursuit of the Improbable Formerly a vet, Stephen changed career to pursue a lifelong passion for wildlife photography, filming and conservation. He has made a number of TV appearances, featured in the national press and won major awards for his photography which concentrates on interesting and challenging wildlife subjects. He has an understanding of the natural history and behaviour of his subjects which include Pine martens, a ‘smart’ mouse, hornets and a tawny owl
