Pétanque

Pétanque starts again on Wednesday 12th April 2023 at 2pm in the recreation ground, and continues every Wednesday until early October.

Rules are simple, and players of all levels of expertise are welcome to play together.

Group members are asked to bring 2 clearly identifiable, matching boules if possible - but I do have a limited supply available to borrow.

There are two courts on the large pétanque area, so everyone gets a chance to play.

The cafe in the ground will be open this year, so we will be able to have drinks and snacks after the game, which usually lasts 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs.

I will collect the £1 fee each week, to pass-on to SHDC for use of the court.

We are currently at our maximum of 20 players, but do apply if you wish to be placed on the waiting list
